The Forst ST8D Wheeled Chipper is fast, aggressive and powerful with a 49hp diesel engine delivering exceptional fuel economy. Compact enough for the city yet offering a performance to take on machines of twice it’s physical size. It makes light work of any type of timber and brush up to 8” in diameter.

This is the 8” diesel wheeled woodchipper for the future. It delivers more chipping speed and efficiency than ever before. The engine coupled with the large Forst ‘open top’ flywheel and ForstGrip feed roller system make it the 8” chipper of choice.

The ‘open top’ flywheel design with twin 10” flat bar blades make for an excellent chip quality and phenomenal chipping velocity. The flywheel has large gusseted draught paddles which through the chip making this an excellent machine for clearing wet green material without any blockages.

The Forstgrip twin hydraulic feed rollers with plenty of crushing power and climbing on an arc over the timber for maximum grip. These rollers are tensioned with twin heavy-duty springs and will break limbs and forks with ease. You can alter the feed roller speed to make the job quicker, and to make it most effective for the type of timber you are chipping.

A simple yet advanced electrical control system taking care of all the electrics on the machine. Historically electrics on plant and machinery are troublesome. AutoIntelligence overcomes this with a completely water and vibration proof system designed and tested in the toughest environments.
