Your Trees Don't Fall
on Flat Ground.
Professionals across California, Oregon, Nevada, and the western mountain states deal with terrain that defeats conventional equipment every day. Forst tracked chippers are engineered for exactly this — they go to the debris, so you stop dragging brush downhill and start chipping where it falls. Less time hauling. Less crew exposure. More volume per shift.
Max Bank Angle
The XR8D traverses grades that stop every other chipper. Work the steepest hillsides in your territory — safely.
Ground Clearance
Clear roots, rocks, and rough terrain without getting hung up. Built to move through forest floors, not around them.
Independent Traxion Legs
Scissor-action tracks adjust independently, self-leveling on uneven terrain so you chip safely on any bank — no tipping, no guesswork.
Remote Control Option
Operate the XR8D from a safe distance on extreme terrain. When slopes demand it, keep your crew out of harm's way.
Most chippers stop at the road. The XR8D doesn't. Whether you're managing a fuel load on a steep Sierra Nevada hillside, clearing storm debris off an Oregon embankment, or doing fire mitigation work in terrain where conventional equipment turns around — this machine goes where the work is. Two configurations to match your operation and risk profile.
Traxion Side Angle System
Scissor-action parallel legs expand and retract independently — safe tracking on banksides, stable chipping on terrain that defeats every standard tracked machine, and the ability to negotiate over obstacles with ease.
