AM Machinery grapple loader lifting logs onto a log trailer in the woods

Why a grapple trailer

Load it, haul it, dump it.

  • No second machine to load

The grapple picks up logs, rounds and brush, so one person loads the trailer without a tractor or skid steer.

  • Dump instead of unload

The hydraulic dump box tips firewood, brush, soil, gravel or chips where you need them.

  • Its own power

A 13 HP Honda electric-start engine runs the loader hydraulics on the trailer.

What it’s for

Built for wood, brush and bulk material.

  • Firewood

Self-load rounds and dump them straight at the processor or the pile.

  • Tree-service cleanup

Load trunk wood and brush with the grapple, then dump the load in one stop.

  • Logging

A 19′ loader and up to 20,000 lb GVWR for production work.

  • Bulk material

The dump box tips soil, gravel, wood chips, brush and stumps.

A trailer with its own hydraulic grapple loader, so one person can pick up logs, rounds or brush and load them without a second machine. The AM 716 1600 and AM 820 2000 add a hydraulic dump box, so the same rig also dumps the load.

How much does a grapple dump trailer cost?

Our in-stock units are listed at $47650.00 for the AM 716 1600 and $59995.00 for the AM 820 2000. Call (707) 600-6696 for a complete quote including freight, taxes and options.

Both carry the same AM 190 loader with a 19′ reach and a 13 HP Honda power unit. The AM 716 1600 has a 7′ × 16′ dump box and a 16,000 lb GVWR. The AM 820 2000 steps up to an 8′ × 20′ box and a 20,000 lb GVWR for bigger loads.

What powers the grapple loader?

A 13 HP Honda electric-start engine drives the hydraulic unit (6 GPM at 3,000 PSI).

What hitch does it use?

Hook-up options are gooseneck, ball hitch or pintle. Tell us what you tow with and we’ll spec the trailer to match.
