Self-Loading Dump Trailer Buying Guide
Why self-loading + dump
A self-loading dump trailer does the work of two machines: the AM-190 loader picks and loads logs, and the deck-over dump tips bulk material out fast. One operator, one rig, one trip.
Galvanized vs. painted
The AM 716 1600 frame is hot-dip galvanized, not painted. Galvanizing resists rust from the inside out, so the trailer holds up to mud, bark acids, and year-round outdoor storage far better than a painted frame.
Options & configurations
Available with high or mesh sides, equipment ramps, a tarp, color choices, gooseneck conversion, a non-dumping configuration, and GVWR upgrades. Tell us your work and we’ll spec it.
Sibling models
Need a different size? AM road dump trailers run from the AM 610-1000 up to the heavy-duty AM 616-2000, and the AM 820 2000 is a 10-ton 8'×20' unit with the same 19' loader and 13 HP Honda.
